Ford Mustang Drifts Over Cement Median and into Peugeot 107

Did the driver of this modded, fifth gen Ford Mustang attempt to drift on purpose or did he simply enter the turn a bit too fast and lost control of the car? Who knows.

The end result is that he (or she, we can't be sure) slid right over the cement median and crashed into a Peugeot 107 on the other side of the road. Bet the Peugeot driver didn't see this coming.

And if you haven't figured it out already from the dashcam-mounted camera, this accident took place in mother Russia.

A 1974 Ford Falcon XB Ute found for Sale in America

If you consider the distance between Australia and America and even more so the country's right-hand drive (RHD) policy, it's not hard to see why classic Aussie vehicles are a rarer site than special edition Lamborghinis in the States.

But once in a blue moon you'll find an imported model from Down Under available for grabs in the classifieds like this 1974 Ford Falcon XB Ute.

The Ute is an Australian conception that dates back to 1934 with its creation credited to Ford engineer and designer Lew Bandt who came up with the idea of combining the front cabin of a sedan with the back of a small truck.

The most popular Utes in the country are made by local carmakers Holden and Ford. The one you see in these pictures is a 1974 model based on the third generation Falcon and it comes with a 302 cubic inch (4.9-liters) Cleveland V8 matched to a four-speed automatic transmission driving the rear wheels.

It Came from Germany: Felge's 2005 Ford Mustang Konquistador

Who names a customized Ford Mustang "Konquistador"? Why, a German tuner, of course, silly! Now, what the Spanish and Portuguese conquistadors (Konquistador in German) have to do with a tuned Mustang is another story entirely…

Using a fifth generation Ford Mustang from 2005 as its canvas, or so to speak, Felge came up with this cosmetics package that bundles bits and pieces from various shops such as the €8,000 (US$10,500) Cervini-Bodykit loosely inspired from the Eleanor that played in the 2000 blockbuster film, Gone in 60 Seconds.

Dashboard mounted car cameras are just about as common as snow in Russia giving us an insight on what your average driver has to deal with on a daily basis.

In the following video, you will find one of the most reckless drivers we've ever watched on camera – period.

We don’t know what went on before, but in the clip, we see the driver of a previous generation Ford Focus bypassing the car with the camera and then slowing down, accelerating and performing dangerous maneuvers on the road.

Not only does the Focus driver force the camera car to slide over to the side of the snowy road, but also an oncoming vehicle to do the same. And if that wasn't enough, he makes a 'U' turn and stops to confront the driver of the car he just pushed over!

Pony Express: New Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 vs. Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca

Comparing the 2012 Chevy Camaro ZL1 with the latest Nissan GT-R is all fine and dandy and makes for a catchy headline but in the real world, few will disagree that there's only one rival and that's none other than the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca.

Motor Trend magazine took Detroit's new breed of wild pony cars and put them to the test around the Inde Motorsports Ranch in Willcox, Arizona to find out who's the real boss.

So which one is the better retro-nostalgic sports car; the Camaro ZL1 with its 580-horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged V8 or the Mustang Boss 302 with the Laguna Seca package and its naturally aspirated 444HP 5.0-liter V8?

Ford Focus EV Achieves 105 MPGe Combined EPA Rating, Beats Nissan Leaf

Reducing fuel consumption of gasoline and diesel engines is a must for every car manufacturer. All-electric vehicles have no such issues, right?

Well, that’s not entirely accurate. After all, they do run on electricity, so the new standard is the miles per gallon equivalent or MPGe with which the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates all-electric vehicles.

Ford announced that its Focus Electric achieves a combined rating of 105 MPGe, and gets 99 MPGe on highway and 110 MPGe in city driving. This is the best result for a five-passenger car in the States, beating the former “champion”, Nissan’s Leaf, by 6 MPGe in the combined rating and 7 MPGe in the city - just as Ford had promised.
