Très Bien: French Magazine Captures New Citroën DS9 Undisguised

Another day, another set of photos of Citroën's new DS concept model. Only this time, French car magazine Automobile managed to snag the DS study without a hint of camouflage, not that it was difficult as Citroën was photographing the new car at the Place de la Concorde, which is one of the best-known public squares in Paris, France.

The French magazine tells us that the concept will most likely carry the DS9 moniker and that it will be revealed in a few days ahead of its world premiere at next month's 2012 Beijing Motor Show.

Citroën's Mystery DS Luxury Model Spotted on the Road in Paris

Now that didn't take long, did it? Less than 24 hours after Citroën shared a pair of teaser photos of a new DS model on its Facebook pages, a blog reader stumbled upon the prototype being hastily covered up on the streets of Paris in France.

The real life shot confirms our suspicions that Citroen's new DS model has a five-door body style, while we'll agree with the folks over at News2zest that its styling looks like a mix of the Metropolis sedan and the GQbyCitroën studies, both of which were shown back in 2010.

Lamborghini has reaffirmed its plans to unveil an SUV concept at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show in April. The Italian company said that the reason why it opted for an SUV model is the car buyers’ preferences in China.

It’s a fact that has been noticed by other luxury carmakers, such as Bentley. VW Group’s other exclusive brand, will also unveil its first-ever SUV concept next month at the Geneva Motor Show. It plans to roll out the production version in 2015, one year ahead of Lamborghini’s successor to the 1980s LM 002.
